After photos of Brazilian businessman Alvaro Garnero welcoming Miss China and her national director at his office in São Paulo a few days ago were published in the internet, several national directors protested and this morning his name no longer appeared in the list of judges at the pageant’s official website. Now only six judges have been confirmed.
Former Miss Universe from the Dominican Republic Amelia Vega, will be a judge at the final event of Miss Universe 2011. Amelia, who recently launched her first DVD, “Agua Dulce”, arrives in São Paulo, Brazil, next week.
Helio Castroneves, a Brazilian auto racing driver currently competing in the North American IndyCar Series, has been confirmed as a judge at Miss Universe 2011 final event. Helio was has won the famous Indianapolis 500 on three occasions: in 2001, 2002 and 2009.
