21-year old Sara Chafak (center), from Helsinki, has been chosen Miss Suomi 2012 during a ceremony held in the same city on January 29th. Chafak, who stands 172 cm in height, will represent Finland at the 2012 Miss Universe pageant to take place around September/October.
The 1st princess was 23-year old Sabina Särkkä, also from Helsinki, who will represent the country during the Miss World 2012 contest in Ordos, China, in August; and the 2nd princess was Viivi Suominen, from Turku. She will compete in the 2012 Miss International pageant to be held in Chengdu, China, in November.
Helsinkiläinen Sara Chafak valittiin Suomen kauneimmaksi katsojien ja tuomarien äänten perusteella. Tuomaristo valitsi ensimmäiseksi perintöprinsessaksi helsinkiläisen Sabina Särkän ja toiseksi perintöprinsessaksi raumalaisen Viivi Suomisen. Lehdistön ihannetyttö on turkulainen Krista Haapalainen.
